Cycling In California

If you’re an urban cyclist and you’re visiting San Diego, California, don’t forget to visit Mission Bay. It’s a good place to bike around. When we visited, we saw a lot of  bike shops that rented out bikes, mostly beach cruisers. The bike ride was 8KM, about an hour ride on a really slow pace. While pedaling we encountered a lot of people jogging, walking, and also biking along the pedestrian/bike lane. The entire stretch was lined with beach houses and patios where people just hung out. We aslo saw a lot of families getting together, swimming, playing on the beach, children running around, people walking their dogs, etc.

A bike store that specializes on cruisers. Where we also rented our bikes to go around.

If I were in San Diego again, I’d definitely go back to Mission Bay.
